Coarse thread sewing device for shuttle multi-needle quilting machine

A shuttle multi-needle quilting machine is a textile machine used for sewing linear patterns on the surfaces of mattresses, bedspreads, quilts, etc. It uses long needles to sew layered textiles, securing the inner wadding or filling. Quilting machines were introduced to China in the 1990s, transforming the country's reliance on traditional manual sewing.

Currently, most quilting machines use fine thread (less than 105D). While this thread is effective for thin textiles, the fabric and filling materials vary depending on the product type. Especially when sewing thicker textiles, fine thread struggles to sew effectively, frequently resulting in thread breakage, fraying, and uneven stitching. This can cause the filling material to clump and shrink, leading to uneven thickness and compromised product quality.

Secondly, while using quilting or embroidery machines to sew with thick thread can guarantee sewing quality to some extent, it requires setting up 2-3 repeated sewing strokes to ensure the desired effect. This makes the sewing process very slow, and quilting machines are extremely expensive, with the technology monopolized by foreign giants, resulting in high production costs for companies and low market competitiveness for their products. Therefore, a specialized thick-thread sewing device that can guarantee sewing quality is needed to change the current situation.
